Definitely looked better last night. Defense played really well. Outrebounded them 43-30 and 13-6 on o-rebounds. That was probably the difference in the game. I wish James would get more run than Foster.

Carolina rallied from down 21 points to Dayton in the second half to beat Dayton by two points, 92-90, in Maui. They said it was Carolina’s second largest come-from-behind win in history.

Frustrating loss in overtime for the Heels.Another case of falling behind early and playing catch up. A crappy start to the year.

Didn’t see that . I wouldn’t be too worried . UNC has good pieces in place and it always seems like UNC is a little slow to start out of the gate. By the time mid February and early March comes around they start hitting their stride.

Duke plays Auburn Tuesday and that could be very tough. Both teams have played very difficult schedules to start the season . We’ll see if it pays off later on.

Carolina is weak on the inside. That's not a great recipe for consistency of play. They're going to be a very up and down team this year. I expect them to have more losses than usual this year.

This Carolina/Bama game is frustrating. I know it's not over and it's game number 8,but Hubert has to address the lack of defense awareness or it's going to be a long year.

The way things are going for Hapless Hubert Davis, I have to wonder how much longer it will be before Bruce Pearl or Nate Oats gets a call from the NC AD.

They do this every year . That said, if Hubert’s first season didn’t have have that magical 5-6 week run, led by a transfer from Oklahoma, I think Hubert would be in a much different position.

In this previous post, I came close to predicting Carolina would miss the NCAA tournament this year, but decided I may be overreacting. I don't think I am. I think they're a bubble team at best this year.

They were a bubble team that year they went to the final 4. I will never underestimate them in that position again.
