Official Fire Dave Hart Petition..........

My records pretty clear on my neutral stance with Dooley. I don't believe in earning the right to coach until you die, so if he thought it was best for Pat to go then I support that, fully knowing that Pat would want what is best for Tennessee. You can't blame the fiscal stuff on him. Were still paying for Hamiltons mistakes, and a Football Training facility that we really DON'T need (though I loooooove it, don't get me wrong.) I guess we should fire Dooley since he's a Virginia/Georgia guy, Cuonzo because he's a Purdue guy, and Serrano because he's a Devry University guy.

Well if Pat thought that, she wouldn't have felt forced out!!! many people can run UT athletics better than Hart. Hart got FSU probation.......

Pat needed to step down. It was time. She was simply sitting on the sidelines looking lost the entire game anyway, and it was pretty depressing to see, frankly. I don't like it anymore than you, but the right decision was made, IMO, just IMO, TIFWIW.

Pat apparently made the decision to step down on her own anyway. So Hart lacks a little bit of tact...not sure why the hell this is a Sports Illustrated news headline.

In defense of Hart, she may not have remembered that correctly....

That's pretty funny/ horrible. The older bunch on here will want to lynch you tomorrow.

Seriously though, the jury is still out on this one. I have skimmed through the Debby Jennings' lawsuit, and if she can prove her allegations the AD is in a lot of trouble. On the flip side, there is a good chance that she is a disgruntled employee attempting to use OUR greatest coach in UT history for a personal vendetta against a change that occurred.

I am not a lawyer, but I stayed at a Holiday last night.

Why is this in the Football thread?

Honestly, Pat is "gold" here - truly one of the greats who's represented this university with class. If Dave Hart did something unethical, it will be revealed and handled.

It's important not to "knee jerk."

Did people not learn from the Penn State debacle? No coach is bigger than the program. When a coach has that kind of power....bad things happen...period.
