i can agree with that, football program was bad when he was hired. martin was a great choice for HC and had done a hell of a job. still doesn't change the fact that football is the big money at UT and that the program sucks. if we were beating good teams, he might get a pass on some of these issues, but we are not. i believe the backlash from this will force cheeks to make a change.
If he is going to fire him it won't be mid season when we can still go 9-3... Hart never even hired Dooley in the first place, how has hart done a bad job?
Dave Hart has to go. We may as well send Cheek with him. It is to be demanded that Dave Hart go immediately. This is a sad atrocity. Everyone though I was a conspiracy theorist when he was hired...........was I too far off?
Will you join me?
just saying football program in crapper and scandal will probably cost him his job. he should have sent dooley packing when we lost to Uk last year. don't look for a mid season firing, especially since dooley still has SC and bammer to prove himself, but if he don't win one of those games i think a change has to be made. hart probably won't get to make it. will be interesting to see how the University backs him in all this.
I mean I am just confused about this scandal, Pat Summit is sick with a terrible illness. Hart was trying to do what was best for the program... What he did was totally legal though. With a healthy Pat Summit I say never fire here but with an illness like dementia...
coming from the guy who says Dooley is the right guy for UT now?
Losing money, pushing out legends, getting sued, FSU and Bamer ties. He is a Bamer GUY!!!!!!!!! He ****ing went to Alabama!!!!!!!!1
true, but you can't force a legend out the way he did. it is the way he handled it that has him in hot water. maybe a public apology makes all this go away, but now that the lawyers are involved i have a bad feeling it is gonna get ugly.
Actually. Yes you can. It was well within his job description and rights to do so. He may not have been the most tactful about doing so, but he was her boss.
People seem to forget that Dave Hart probably did not make this decision on his own anyway. I would say that the UT $$$$$$$'s (boosters/doners) had say in this too. Just like in any corporation that has investers backing it. You may be the boss within the confines of the building, but the money is telling YOU what to do.
