Official Fire Dave Hart Petition..........

so you'd rather have that joker mike hamilton back??

You know, people can throw things at me...but Hammy did make a lot of great hires.

1) Pearl was a jewel until the BBQ. He gets credit for putting Vols basketball back on the map.
2) Kiffin was a great hire. Just an unfortunate series of events happened.
3) Martin was a great hire! We gonna win a lot of BB games.
4) I like the new baseball coach. I think that will work.
5) We shall see on Dooley

Of course it was. But make no mistake, this has the potential to get ugly. I know one in particular whose name a lot of people would know that has steam coming out their ears over this.

Does that name have something to do with a thing called Pilot?

And I have no doubt it will get ugly. Why? It's UT.

this guy?

Not wanting to be that guy, but hasn't Pat's memory been deteriorated? If that were the case how could she make a sworn affidavit towards something she has no idea about. Either way justice needs to be served whomever it may be to. I just want the Vols to start winning again.

In all seriousness....this goes to show that the mess Hart inherited was about as big as the mess Dooley was left with. Our AD has been dysfunctional for a long, long time.

I'm sorry...I'm gonna believe Pat Summitt in a sworn statement over Dave Hart ANYDAY! He's got a history of not being trustworthy and he's continued that since being here. Kinda like when he said multiple times that he didn't plan on fazing out the Lady Vols logo. That was a lie as he formulated a 3 yr plan to faze it out for financial purposes. You don't gain credibility by blatantly lying. If Pat says she was released from her position I believe her. I'm not buying this "she mis-remembered" talk by Hart. I'm not as worried about the Debbie Jennings thing. However I do find it odd that the lady from FSU went public with accusations towards Hart several months ago. I'm pretty sure she didn't have anything to gain financially by doing so.

With the changes being made over there, it would be interesting to know the male/female ratio in the UTAD prior to and after Hart's changes.

Come on.........Hart just wants a few young hotties around the office. I am ok with that.

Nope... Not a Haslam or Thornton type.

We do seem to have a knack the past 5 years for handling coaching transitions like a bull in a china shop. Pretty clear that there has been a systemic problem in the AD for years.

By AD...I mean athletic dept.

Things like the closed door policy in the AD with former players, unwillingness to address struggling programs like track, general direction if other programs, the fact that they feel the AD is being systematically purged of all UT blood.....like I said, a myriad of things.

Thanks.

That last one concerns me the most.

My records pretty clear on my neutral stance with Dooley. I don't believe in earning the right to coach until you die, so if he thought it was best for Pat to go then I support that, fully knowing that Pat would want what is best for Tennessee. You can't blame the fiscal stuff on him. Were still paying for Hamiltons mistakes, and a Football Training facility that we really DON'T need (though I loooooove it, don't get me wrong.) I guess we should fire Dooley since he's a Virginia/Georgia guy, Cuonzo because he's a Purdue guy, and Serrano because he's a Devry University guy.

Never should have hired Ray Mears.....Miami University and Dayton guy......man, think of how well we could have done without that hire!

So obviously nobody wants this, but who is it going to get bad for? Hart or Jennings? I can't see how Hart is in the wrong.

What type then, if you don't mind me asking.

I seriously cannot imagine how worse it can for the UT athletics program. This has to be the worst five years in the department's history.

Has great potential to get very, very ugly. People do not want to go down this road.........

Lacks class, but tell me you didn't just slightly think that. I've got a Mother in Law with the same illness. Not sure there's a graceful way out.

I know I have missed 250 posts in this thread, but Lex and GA are right. If you don't live around this disease, you have no business making any kind of comment. My mom has gone from coherent to not being able to string a sentence together in just over 2 years. Pat should have been encouraged to retire as soon as she was diagnosed. It may be that Tyler actually asked Hart to do this. Believe me, when someone with this disease thinks that their family member is trying to get them to do something that they "think" that they don't have to or want to do, it gets ugly and stays ugly. That is why I think that Tyler may have gone behind her back to get her "retired". I love Pat and wish her the best and pray for her family, because in the long run, they will suffer much more than she will. I don't know how to describe this disease and watching it take someone away from you to any of you. It is truly one of the worst things that I have ever seen.

So if one doesn't live around the disease they shouldn't comment? LOL. After making that statement you then turn around and CREATE YOUR OWN theory that Tyler Summit stabbed his mother in the back by asking the UTAD to release his mother. I've read a lot of wild things. But this has to rank up near the top.
