Does anyone else find it amazing how many bull**** chants MSU fans have started in a charity game where they have both a foul advantage and free throw advantage?

And how the TV tries to mute them

I mean all things considered, being up 40-37 at half without Vescovi and Zeiglar is impressive even if the last 10 minutes was basically pure trash. Don’t think a 17-point lead all game was realistic.

Biggest takeaway from me is our frontcourt is getting bullied which is a bit surprising, although MSU will have one of the most experienced front courts in the country. Also surprised how little impact it seems Dillione has had so far.

Agree on Dilione--he was a disappointment in the 1st half.

Our offense looks great. 40 points with 2 of your best scorers out is impressive. Just need the inside game to improve and we’ll be elite.

I like Mashack and what he brings defensively, but if he is your only hope to get to the basket, we are in trouble. Granted we will get ZZ back. But need JJ and Dilone to offer more in that regard.

Winning this game shouldn’t be expected when you don’t have Vescovi and Zeiglar. If we do, it’s just icing. I mostly want to see how good the new faces are. If we can get THIS Knecht all season, we will win a ton of games.

JJ's got a man's body--and he absolutely should use it more to get to the rim. This has been one of the weaknesses of his game--seldom gets to the basket.
