This truly is an anomaly of a game so far, and as trite as it is to say this after just one horrible half, this is the kind of thing that could actually motivate the guys going forward.

I honestly can’t remember watching a more thorough shellacking of a Vols team than the first half was. They flat-out whooped us. Dang.

It’s not impossible to think Tennessee could put on the greatest comeback in program history to win, but it certainly feels far, faaaaaar from probable.

The team will need extra support after today if the lose, friends. Now is NOT the time to drag them through the mud. They’ll need a huge boost of, 1. Forgiveness for faltering today, and 2. 100% confident fan support as they work out the kinks before the Tourney.

GO VOLS! And hang in there, fans. It’s not the end of the world.

MSST has size and good inside defense. It's up to Santi and JJJ to create and shoot well when DK is doubled.

The Blueprint is double team DK, play straight up on everyone else and if your front line is big and physical the Vols will struggle. It was brought up last week on ESPN if TN can win as a one man team. JJJ & Vescovi have got to step up and in a consistent way.

Obviously we’re probably not coming back but I’d really like to see some fight in this 2nd half.

I expect an early drive to the basket by Knect, a good lock down defensive play, turnover and 3 by TN and we will be back in this.

71% shooting from 2pt range by MSU. Did we just do our usual doinking the ball off the rim in the first half??

Not just this year, but most years. We run into a couple of games where the other team comes out determine to push us around, and for whatever reason, the refs let a lot of it slide. It always seems to get into our guys' heads. Happens a few times every year. I don't know exactly what the solution is in those situations, I only know that Tennessee almost never seems to handle it.

Sometimes I wonder if Barnes' reputation for playing rough puts a crosshairs on Tennessee for these types of games.
