How KUB's 'unprecedented commitment' to solar will impact its customers

Knoxville is going to pay for 500 MW of solar power from west Tennessee. I'm not a transmission expert but I doubt Knoxville is seeing any of that generation. Meanwhile, there's a nuke plant making 2400 MW right down the road, carbon free. No mention of that. We have to stop letting PR firms and media drive narratives. I don't know how to fix this, but we are boned if we keep going this path.

This paper says 2020 was warmer because we had LESS emissions this year than previously

Not sure how much credence this paper will get, but I found the parts I read interesting, because it's one of the few I have seen back up things I have said about cooling from the aerosols.

ABC morning news ran a story about how the "historic" winter storm forecast for the Northeast was due to climate change. Since when is 2' of predicted snow historic for up there?

We have found out that a lot of these "historic" events are very specific on just how historic they are.

Could be the date, could be duration of the event, could be source/direction of the event, could be the exact county has only reached 1'-11 1/2" before so its historic at 2'0". Could be they are measuring differently or in new areas, if there is a new airport that changes a lot.

"Historically" you never knew about these events. So now that its tracked everything is somehow the worst.

I read an article on that, too. It's basically that thing we've known for decades about pollutants in the air reflecting sunlight so it doesn't reach the earth. The nuclear winter postulated and Krakatoa type events proved it long ago. There's a pretty direct and straight forward path to limiting temperature increase, and it's funny that environmentalists would rather people think they will die rather than employ a sun filter. I'm waiting for someone to rediscover the melting glaciers changing sea salinity and density thereby cutting off the Gulf Stream and re-cooling the Arctic, too. Makes you wonder if anybody thought that Musk should have to do an environmental impact study for his proposed and growing constellation of satellites. Probably way too far gone for people to consider how a big frozen island named Greenland got it's name.

Saw this idiot on 60 minutes in passing to other channels. Why anybody wants to hear from this noob about our climate is stupid. He's no expert on the subject. Go over to China and then to India Bill and preach to those guys who are doing the greatest damage of pollution ..... we're doing our part ..... has anybody not told you that yet?
Why do these people keep this up front on our news .... go to China & India to get them to comply w/the rules & I might get to the point of getting on board for supporting this .... but for now, this is a scam & a waste of TV time..

He spoke about some interesting tech to pull CO2 out of the air or to bury it inside concrete. Meh, you want less CO2, plant a bunch of evergreens all over the world.

I liked the nuclear plant design he discussed, though. I hope that one is viable.
