The day the pols and elite start zooming rather than flying to Davos to discuss "climate change" and emitting more CO than I ever will, the day they stop eating steak while telling me to eat whatever, the day they say "hey China and India", the day they stop buying coastal land, is the day I say "hey maybe they are correct".

Otherwise this is nothing but global wealth redistribution. Hint..it is.

No, that doesn't follow. It's like a smoker telling you that you shouldn't smoke. Just because they do it doesn't mean they're wrong when they tell you that you shouldn't.

Do what? What a bizaare analogy. If they are the smokers and they still smoke, then they are nothing but hypocrites. These are leaders and should lead by example, Otherwise they can GTFO.

Except this isnt some random guy. These are world leaders. So not only are they being hypocritical in message, but of their own leadership.

Textbook tu quoque fallacy. Personal choices don't affect the underlying veracity of the science.

If I claim that domestic violence is a problem in America but then get arrested for hitting my wife, that doesn't suddenly mean that domestic violence is not a problem just because I'm a hypocrite.

We all make logical fallacies. Nothing wrong with pointing them out so people can sharpen their rhetorical skills. I rather enjoy when people help me see the error in my arguments rather than simply throw a ligucalcfallacy back in my face.

Except in this case there is no fallacy. The people being dismissive about the politicians were already dismissive about global warming. If anyone is presenting this fallacy, it's you making it to defend bad actors.

Right back to hyperbole, making personal attacks to draw attention away from the subject matter.
