Regardless of how we play in the 2nd half fellas....losing both starting tackles is a huge blow. Larry Johnson 3 is terrible. He gets beat a lot. Davis isnt much better. Thats why we ran the ball 8 straight times on that drive. We bad need to hit the portal again for some high dollar Lance Heard type tackles. We have guards and a backup center for days.

Exactly. Our players having serious slips and injuries. Wonder if OK has different cleats or studs in than us? We need to get Squirrel, Bru, or Donte again deep to keep them from loading the box all game... but our 2nd and 3rd team tackles have shown that they cant keep Nico clean long enough for the deep crosses etc to develop.

I honestly wish we would go back to 12 personnel like we did vs NCSU and use our TEs to run block as well as beat LBs and safeties down field.

Pearce had 2 sacks where he had hands on the QB and failed to tackle him...twice. once in each quarter. He is still greatly impacting the game...but he badly needs to get that 1st sack this season so he can relax and just breathe and be the badazz that he is...

Welp...the bullsheet begins. Completely madeup holding call negates a 50 yard gain down to the OK 9 yardline. Garbage refs. Oklahoma has only been called for 1 penalty in this entire game...had a 15yard personal foul flag unceremoniously picked up after the ref threw it on OK...zero holding calls on them against the best defensive line in the nation....but they make some billsheet holding call on a huge backbreaking run down to their 9 yardline. Desperate to keep us from going up 26-3 because they know that's game over. We have to tackle well against this running QB

I dont like the overly conservative playcalling in the 2nd half by CJH...so much so that the talking heads are bringing up repeatedly. Playing not to lose instead of playing to win. Thats puss football and not at all like Coach Hype.

If you didnt know that we were gonna run the ball from shotgun after missing that deep pass on 1st down (the only pass downfield in 3 drives of 2nd half) then you havent been paying attention. Everyone in that stadium knew we were gonna run the ball twice and punt after missing that deep ball.
