I went to one of their shows, I went to the restroom right before intermission (I didn’t know there was one) so when I came out of the bathroom people were walking out and I thought the show was over. Nope, 2 more hours.

It’s a great show just an hour or 2 too long.

I think the Pop-Tarts bowl is a great example of how bowls have become irrelevant. UM pulls a healthy and playing good QB1 after the 1st half to get next years QB some PT, they end up losing.

Edit: It might have been a case of the coach allowing the QB to play the 1st half to break some record IDK.

I dont even go in there. Almost entirely populated by the 10% or so of our fanbase that act like emotional teenage girls in a rage every time we lose a game..which rarely happens since we have averaged 10wins per year for the last 3 seasons. Completely Irrational posters crying over the kids our staff told to leave...and raising Cain because we arent throwing millions at every flashy player in the portal. We have 83 guys on scholarship as of today btw...out of 83 limit due to probation. Pearce and Sampson leaving early gets us to 81. We are likely to add another Oline, a WR, maybe 2 DTs and a Safety? Thats 5 guys. We will have to lose 3 more guys in the spring portal to do that...our coaches know exactly what the Hell they are doing and have done a great job there every year IMO. Wish the Chicken Littles in the FF would go away...

Yeah I would be pissed if i was a senior for Miami. They scored 6 points in the 2nd half without Cam. Glad they lost. Selfish decision to play half the game. Either dont play and dont break the record...or play to win. Ridiculous IMO

Yep, and I made the mistake of posting a logical response. People are actually pissed we made the playoffs and weren't in a crap bowl game. Sky is falling, end of the world type posters currently. Is it spring yet so everyone can be super unrealistic about going undefeated and winning it all next year?

So did Mathews enter the portal or not? I can’t find anything showing he is actually in the portal and the deadline was midnight eastern.

Yeah at 1030pm Matthews requested papers. Total dickmove and honestly i dont want him anymore...but brilliant by his agent. Waited til we put 5WRs in the portal and all the articles are written about the youth movement at WR and all the PT those 5 kids can get next year...THEN at the last moment holds the Coaches hostage as the highest rated WR of them all demanding a new contract. He will get a bunch of $$$. He can also Eat a fat one from my perspective. There have been rumors here and there that the reason he didnt get to play much this season despite the other WRs struggling AND being injured...Bru, Thornton AND Squirrel all missed time this year...was because of his attitude/lack of preparedness. Guess we will find out about that. This offense isn't easy for a WR to pick up...not gonna happen if you dont work and study hard, or if you're dumb as crap. Which routes each WR runs on each snap depends both on the play called AND what the defense is doing with coverage...whether man or zone, cover1, cover2, cover3, or dime. The WR and the QB have to both know what each WR is gonna do in response to the defense on every snap. Have to both see the same thing, and both be correct. Nico seems sharp and by all accounts has done everything right in preparation. I have no Idea what Matthews or Staley has done as freshmen...but neither of them saw the field much and Staley redshirted despite BOTH being super talented so I assume the WRs dont know where to be and what to do...so Coach isn't gonna put them on the field even though we really needed them. In Staleys defense, he couldn't EE and so didnt have spring practice. Matthews has no excuse short of being dumb...lazy...or unwilling to put in the work to play a lot. His rival freshmen WRs at Bama AND OSU had BIG freshmen years. He barely played even though we needed him to. That seems like a MM problem to me. Guess we will see...i am thinking he is still a VOL just a more spoiled, richer version.

Edit: AP.posted at 1130pm last night that we were attempting to renegotiate his contract and keep him here. Unless our rivals already have an agreement with him, we likely match their offer and keep him IMO. For better or worse. Its a dagger thru UT staff either way IMO. This insanity has to end. NCAA apparently cowered and gave up. Congress needs to set guidelines

So the kid got paid basically. NIL cannot continue in its current state. I do understand it was way too long in coming with the money schools made off of these kids. But right now the pendulum has swung way too far the other way. But hey get paid while you can 🤷‍♂️
