And the hangovers hurt more than they used toI can only raise heck now, can’t stay up late enough to raise hell.
Saw a post in the Recruiting forum earlier claiming that the Mavericks "won" in that trade. The idiots occupying the front office at the Dallas Mavericks have no peer across any sport right now. Not even the Dallas Cowboys. Holy hell what an amazingly stupid trade. Quite possibly the worst trade in sports history.
Good Lord who said that?! The trade is being universally lambasted as possibly (probably) the worst trade in the history of all professional sports.
They just landed the best two way big in the league alongside Giannis and Wembanyama. Add to that Kyrie and their decent supporting cast of role players and they are definitely a championship contender. I could easily see them coming out of the West.
Don't let the LeBron media propaganda fool you. AD has been a top 5 player in this league for close to a decade and was the major reason the Lakers won the title in 2020. Him and Kyrie fit like a glove and instantly become one of the best duos in the NBA.
Me too. Just a touch lightAnd I was thinking about picking up one of these bad boys.
Why an Oil Change on a Bugatti Veyron Costs Almost $25,000
Wow the Lakers just became the best team in the NBA
LOL. I love how little you know about basketball. They took a huge step back. AD was the key to their defense. Now they traded away their best defensive big for a non-defense ball dominant point forward. Which makes no sense since they already have someone just like that in LeBron.
This is why basketball is about more than stats. Defense matters and so does fit. Two ball dominant point forwards who play zero defense are not better than one of them with a two-way dominant big like AD.
Mavs are the ones who actually improved immensely with this trade. Kyrie and AD are now arguably the best duo in the league based on talent and fit.
Oh we had a much better DEI hire before Luka with Dirk Nowitzki. He is immortalized with a statue outside of AA Center along with Mike Modano (NHL). Luka was on his way to his own statue before this idiotic trade.I promise this is tongue in cheek politics, but is Nikola Jokic the greatest DEI hire is history? Luka's up there, too.
ND40, I know that Cuban sold his majority stake in the Mavs, but I believe that I remember reading that he was still running their basketball operations. Was this his call, or did someone else make this move?Oh we had a much better DEI hire before Luka with Dirk Nowitzki. Nope he was not involved at all. He does not participate at all in day to day operations anymore he is just their richest groupie with permanent court side seats. This was all Nico Harrison. And I’m waiting to see if the fallout gets him fired. This trade is getting absolutely hammered by every sports writer in this market.ND40, I know that Cuban sold his majority stake in the Mavs, but I believe that I remember reading that he was still running their basketball operations.
