Official Gramps' Memorial Eternal OT Thread

His brother was a real hero. During the attack, he pushed 2 girls out of the way into safety before being killed himself. What a great moment for their family. It won't help with the loss of his brother who himself was in his early 20s...but that's a great reminder of Who is really im charge and settles everyone's accounts in the end. Beautiful that they got to honor him again publicly like that.

I am an Irish Spring man myself. Since I have been shaving my head weekly with clippers (no guard, only stubble remains) since 1995, I just wash my head with soap too. Some things don't need to be complicated.
Do you use a skull shaver? It changed my life. No more safety razors for me. I have sensitive skin, though, so I can't use just anything.

I use plug in clippers made specifically for a close shave. Balding clippers maybe? Made by Wahl. Not sure if that's the correct name. I think i have seen the kind you're talking about on a youtube commercial though. I personally dont want my head to be shiny though...or to have to shave it every 2 or 3 days. So I have always just used clippers. Theres a lady who used to work at a barber shop not far from me though who I used to go see occasionally because she would use hot towels and hot cream and shave my head and face with a straight razor. She could do the whole thing in about 10mins and it was smooth as a babys butt for a couple days. Felt like a million bucks after that. She was really talented. Haven't done that in a decade though. I have saved a lot of money in haircuts over the last 3o years though lmao. If you dont mind, show me what you use? Is your dome shiny or not?

It will shave close, but not like a straight razor. There is still short stubble. But you control how close you want to get.

Thanks bud I might check that out. So tired of shaving my head after 30 years. I dont have male pattern balding or anything, so i still have a full head of hair to cut every week. Definitely going grey though but I am closing in on 50yo so thats expected. I would gladly give up my eyebrows in trade, if it meant i didnt have to shave my head and face anymore LMAO. Probably look like an alien 👽 then with no hair from the neck up! 😄 Appreciate the heads up though, us bald guys gotta stick together. Go VOLS.

As an owner I can tell you residents fight assessments tooth and nail and defer maintenance so in a lot of these cases they brought it upon themselves.
I would never purchase a condo in Florida. I'm going the boat route. Don't like your neighbor, move in about 30 minutes and take your house with you.
