green is bad

We just got the National Weather Service alert to move to the basement. Winds expected to reach 65 to 70 mph and to expect damage to roofs, downed trees and power lines. But no kidding it’s just as calm as can be here now, no sign of anything except an occasional roll of Thunder from far far off in the distance.

Looks like the big bad weather just passed right on by us here, but I’m gonna roll with it anyway. Got some old REO Speedwagon’s Ridin The Storm Out (Gary R could play with the best of em) blaring through the Bose and some of life’s comforts on hand.

Nice! Peat hasn't been good to me lately, but good stuff.

Tri-Cities Kingsport.
Didn’t realize you live up that way. I lived in Elizabethton from 2014-2018. I miss playing golf up that way. Most everything in middle TN is flat. Love the elevation changes up your way. I really miss the tee shot on #12 at Buffalo Valley though it shut down. Also miss Graysburg Hills in Chuckey. Hell I even miss Pine Oaks!
