Greyshirts can delay entry into school until the following January. They do not have to attend school the first semester.

The fact that our class is going to be full and we won't be able to back count anyone, is the reason I don't believe we will greyshirt anyone, IMO. We need bodies who can play now, IMO.

Da'Rick Rogers and John Brown may not qualify. You don't turn down a guy like Glass who is at a position of need. I do think we oversign. I'm not sure why you're so deadset that we will not.

Needing people now is not the issue at all. You don't greyshirt guys that can help you immediately.

Ralph Williams as a switch.

To make my joy complete we get Stone and Green and Pair changes schools...that scenario seems VERY unlikely, but I can always dream

You best hope Pair doesn't go anywhere. Tackle is a HUGE need. Everyone that we are still in it for project at Guard. Pair is going to be a good tackle. Very athletic.

I want Robinson or Glass in addition to those.

Seth Reedy is still in the picture too. Pat McNeil is a fallback. I think there is someone at DT that will pop up on Signing Day. I don't know who, but something tells me there will be.

Man. Robinson would be quite a get.

Delvin Jones likely won't qualify anywhere he goes. We should just recruit him again next year obviously.

Williams probably isn't qualifying either, but both him and Jones will probably sign with Ole Miss.

Great post, thanks for helpin out sab.

Quick question though, what's the main difference between a prep school and juco? Is one better than the other?

so, if you sign and place a guy...does he officially belong to the univ. then or is he fair game for other schools to approach while at JUCO / Prep school?

robinson is on there. lol do you like robinson or glass more sab?
Sorry, I'm brain dead today. I like Robinson because of his size. I don't know what kind of offensive line scheme we will be running so I'm not sure who fits it better.

Junior College is a required 2 year commitment. Prep school you can leave when you get the grades you need to qualify or pass the required courses.

How much work you have to do grade-wise usually dictates which you go to. That's my understanding. Someone with more knowledge on the subject may be able to better answer your question. It's a good one.

What in the world are you talking about? There is absolutely NO way you want to see Pair change schools on us come Wednesday. We aren't really in it for any other tackles and he is a VERY athletic kid who will be a very good SEC tackle given a year or so. We can just forget about Green--that ship has sailed.
