Mediocrity known as our Football program has went on way to long. I will say this, UT has this one chance to get this right atleast for me.

If not, I promise to UT that I will cut my grass next year on Saturdays with a pair of scissors so my whole day will be consumed.

Since everyone is falling off the wagon... Let us look at some evidence:

It’s done. My 14 year old daughter just text me and her science teacher knows someone close to Gruden and it’s a done deal. It’s even infiltrated our education system.

I've got work to do, and am tired of the Mullenites attempting to take a Hot Carl on my hopes and dreams.

Put yourself in Gruden's place. ESPN is laying off for the 3ed time. NFL is tanking over the standing during the anthem, and he can move to a job where hemove.s he is wanted, would love doing, and would get one hell of a salary boost. His coming here is a well timed logical career move.

Not to beat a dead horse, but if you are just here to poke the bear, troll, or be a douche in general you need to go back and read any of Knucklehead's posts and take his advice. There are plenty of other threads to wallow in misery. We don't need that ish here! We want to banter back and forth and enjoy our time. The season has been miserable enough. You don't have to agree that Gruden is coming, just don't be a prick about it and we will get along just fine.....rant over. good day and Grude on!

I never read that he said he won't be back until the announcement was made. People were saying this before he broke his silence the other day too, but he came back to say what he said about the red October.

Atlanta Vol made two statements about his presence or absence:

So I think folks sub-consciously combined these two statements into one, that he would never confirm it was done before it was announced, but would cease posting.

Which, as you point out, is not what he said.

The fact that Atlanta Vol hasn't posted lately (as Atlanta Vol by name...he's probably still here under an alias) isn't proof that the deal is still good; it is only an indication that the AD's office asked him to stop posting until the announcement is made.

...

Having helped clarify that, I still firmly believe the deal is done, and we're in the quiet period waiting for the announcement's proper timing.
