Speak for yourself, you dont know what your talking about. I served for 23 yrs as an enlisted with a degree. Never about the money, I could have made more money on the civilian side leaving 20 yrs ago.

If you think everyone joins the military to simply serve you are delusional. Yes it is admirable but many more join to put food on the table and to have a steady income with benefits for their families.

I'm with you he will never finish it. He's too lazy, rich and old to care anymore. And we will wait and see what happens with this supposed prequel spin off HBO keeps dropping hints about. That's what.

Yes, that's correct. A shame what happened to him at such a young age. I watched him and his siblings grow up in Beech Bluff.

I honestly hope we don't get into small parcel. There is no money in it and the margins are low and it's now what we do best.

Our money maker is last mile or home delivery of bulk goods. Appliances, matresses, furniture, cabinets, etc.. now we are killing it in E-Commerce. E-Commerce and the returns and reverse logistics market is booming. We mainly use contractors so we don't get ate alive with driver salaries, workers comp, unions, etc.. which kills UPS and some of our competitors. When we bought out Conway we had to deal with the union but only in the LTL side.

We bought out also Norbert Dentressangle which is the largest transportation and trucking company in Europe and we have expanded. XPO next focus will be Last Mile, home delivery in Europe which is non-existent in Europe. We will be the first all over Europe for last mile home delivery and E-commerce.

I have loved watching XPO's growth. I was also in Logistics for a while and when I saw what you all were doing, i bought stock in low $30's. I don't think you have to worry about being in small parcel. If there is room for a 3rd provider after DHL's departure, then I would put my money on Amazon. Something tells me that with the network they are building, its only time before they begin moving packages. That would be a way to subsidize their own shipping which is a margin killer.
