This has been signed for a few days IMO..the narrative needs controlled. Remember Trey isn't putting out anything without his sources approving. Meanwhile Hyams is putting out what his are dictating he puts out. See the difference.

Hawk, you are right on the spot about that. I don’t like Hyams. I’m neutral on Wallace until this is over - I’ll reserve formng an opinion on him until then. When you speak of controlling the narrative, I think we “nobodies” here in VN and particularly in this thread may have helped to create the narrative; and, by continuing to press the topic we have some small measure of control over it because we are being watched. We live in interesting times. Public sentiment is easier to gage today than it ever has been, thanks to omnipresent social media. Few people have any measure of doubt that this board is monitored by the university and associated stakeholders. In fact, it wouldn’t surprise me if some VFL’s who are well known here on this thread might have been assigned to read and interact with the denizens here. If that’s the case, I’m glad they’re here and I’m glad we continue to press. When this is over, I hope the timeline and geography and demography of the events come out. I’ve been “keeping score” in this game and I’d like to see how well I did.

Gruden to the Hill!

Take the orange glasses off already . U all want him because he is a former vol . That's it . U all would die if he had a all Tennessee staff but the truth is it would suck . Tennessee isn't the only team that produced great coaches . Our Halfback coach is one of the best but u all prefer Jay Graham

I don’t understand the Mullen love. He’s gotten curb stomped by Alabama several times

The name Bill Callahan ring any bells . U know the super bowl contender Head coach that lost to Gruden . He went to Nebraska and had one top 25 year in four years

Mullen certainly isn’t my top choice, but that’s a poor way to judge anything. Every coach in this conference has gotten curb stomped by Alabama. Any coach that we hire (outside of Gruden) would get curb stomped with his current team too.

Such a mensch.

Every now and then, you get these long-time 12-steppers with humility and tons of talent, and all you can do is sit back and love it. Bless his heart.

We go see him perform whenever he's in a reasonable driving distance.

My husband (the keeper, that is) wooed me from a distance with "Have a Little Faith in Me." That captured my heart from the get-go, and it might be one of my songs at my funeral.

That warms my heart.

No, nobody has a clue who he is. And thats half the point.

Apparently not enough if you think 38 Special is, well, something special.

Not a huge fan of them. They've got a few good songs. I'm just saying that I've never heard anyone express a negative opinion about them (or positive one now that I think about it). I guess it was the comparison to Nickelback, which is quite possibly the worst band ever, that shocked me.
