Right, no coach will leave before the regular season. I'm talking about Gruden saying no later in the process and other coaches will say no because they know our fanbase only wanted Gruden. If we do hire someone other than Gruden I hope that coach has the testicular fortitude to take the brunt of our fans not wanting him because of Gruden.

I think its going to be Gruden, but if its not the new coach doesnt need testicular fortitude. Neyland holds 102k+, besides that there are Millions of others around the country. The only fans that will truly be heart broken are the 10k on volnation. With that being said i dont think 10k will make a coach not want to come here

Do you guys even listen to yourselves?? If that’s true, you’re making a guy that hasn’t coached in 10 years (and proven nothing at the college level) the highest paid in the country. And nevermind the fact he was a good (not great) coach in the NFL. This is literally what would happen if they put one of you fools in charge of the AD. You roll the dice on something like that, and it doesn’t work out, then the program is the laughing stock of the entire country. Oh and what’s the buyout on a contract like that? If he’s not winning championships in year one with those numbers I know you guys will want him fired.

people like you talk all this ish in here and then parade around names like scott frost in other threads. SCOTT FROST HAS 1 YEAR OF HEAD COACHING EXPERINCE. Gruden has more coaching knowledge in his little pinky than a guy like frost.
