Funny how the # keeps changing next it’ll be

Harbaugh is making 9/yr at Michigan. Saban only makes about 7 base but his bonuses and incentives are out of the park.

I have no idea on the speculated numbers here, but it is not outside the range of possibility.

Do you guys even listen to yourselves?? If that’s true, you’re making a guy that hasn’t coached in 10 years (and proven nothing at the college level) the highest paid in the country. And nevermind the fact he was a good (not great) coach in the NFL. This is literally what would happen if they put one of you fools in charge of the AD. You roll the dice on something like that, and it doesn’t work out, then the program is the laughing stock of the entire country. Oh and what’s the buyout on a contract like that? If he’s not winning championships in year one with those numbers I know you guys will want him fired.

You can't be afraid to succeed.

Currie would be dumb to send out the news to hundreds of former/current players and hoping that not one them say anything. Also, anytime someone says their source is a player, I do not trust.

The only people who currently know anything are Currie and the true money players/huge boosters. Anything beyond that is fake.

And me..... :hi:

I love seeing these articles and tweets from national writers saying “why would Tennessee want gruden” and “Tennessee has concerns about gruden.”

The beav said it woulld be like this.

I resort back to the radio show I listened to the other day. Commentator said "I don't think Gruden to Tennessee is possible but that could be my brain hoping it isn't possible. He can and would reset the power balance in the SEC."

Commentators have a favorite school and nobody wants to see something like that. You think Ed Aschoff at ESPN wants to see someone of Gruden's caliber to UT?

Nothing earth shattering here but for those giving credence to LWS, he seems to be changing his tune.....

“ThickStripe said: ↑
If A&M lands him and Florida gets Kelly, only Gruden will suffice for Tennessee fans.”

“agree..”

That's not what he means

Don't over look Patterson

I think Patterson could be a Plan B option, too. I had heard from a friend that (he thought) Currie was in Dallas last week, and then someone else posted about hearing the same and said they thought he was our potential backup plan. Can't remember who that was...I'm getting all of my insiders confused at this point. Let's hope we don't need Plan B, though!

Been there done that..May I suggest Advil Cold & Sinus??Go to Walgreens and look for the cold medicines aisle and there will be a selection of cards for the Advil..pick out one and take it up to the pharmacy counter and they will give the meds to you there..Also have your driver license ready to show them...:hi:

SOON

Mama bear speaks the truth. That stuff works great. It cures everything but Grumors.

Yeah. What we've been doing has worked so well there's no reason to try something drastic. Most fans will give Gruden time to get his players and system in place, although I'm sure you'd be around at every stumble to ***** and moan. GTFO.

Same goes for Finebaum and his man crush for Saban and Bama

7 years 70 million, 13 million for staff. If it’s true, at least our AD ain’t playing around. All on Gruden at this point.

Ok..... so here is what I think about this. :)
1) There would be stability with retaining coaches because no school would offer asst. coaches that kind of money unless it's for HC jobs.
2) With that being said, I can't help but think how Saban ruined the SEC with his recruiting and coaching......... this kind of money would ruined college football all together because other schools would have to anty up also for good asst's in their future.
In short..... Saban ruined SEC and Tenn ruined coaching in CFB......... daddy likey! :)

Peterson.

As it was explained to me in one of the previous Gruden threads, Chris Petersen's son had a rare medical condition that can only be treated in a few locations nationwide. That's why U Dub was a good landing spot for him because they have a program specifically for that care.

Or so I was told.

Man, if I walk into a c-store to get Powerade, and all they carry is Gatorade....I get back in my truck and go to the next stop.

You know that Stokely bought Gatorade for peanuts, and made billions? Gatorade has given far more to UT than UF. So drink up knowing those $$ come home!

Can you elaborate on this? I find it interesting that Butch would meddle in S&C, which is something I'm sure he knows nothing about. Just goes to show how controlling he was.

Me and others will vouch they have seen and read some of the things that was coming out around the time he was fired,I forgot who it was all I know is he was well connected with the team and the players ,but the "tea ☕️" also know as the information 👈🏽👈🏽 Was being spilled over in the
"recruiting forum", that he didn't push the players to work out and didn't care if they did at all ,which explains why we have so many injuries and we look really skinny compared to other sec teams ,he restricted rock from doing his job because the players were complaining to butch it was to difficult for them and it also came out that the players requested the other Strength coach be let go because they didn't like him and his work outs were to hard, along with him telling butch tf off about how the players wouldn't last a whole season if he continued this,he really stood up to butch,he didn't like it at all,he was being questioned as a head football coach by a strengthening coach it pissed him off and ultimately you seen how many injuries we had last year,he ended up fired and we all blamed him but it was butch the whole time, it still was till he got fired!

If these numbers are correct, I wonder what his buyout would be should he decide to leave for the NFL?
