We tried to go over, under and around those hurdles but it is not going to happen in the end. This is not a failure by ut administration. It just comes down to a guy that does not want to coach college football. There is no reason to be angry, downtrodden or depressed about this. There are very good football coaches who are interested in coming here. We need to celebrate that truth and get ready for the next opportunity to be a great football program again. I'm not buying what they are selling. I don't think he would be flying around looking for assistant coaches and than say, I dont want to coach college football. Jmo

These Norvell and Mullen people make me not be able to help but wonder if many fans feel like its wrong to expect championship caliber football at UT

Apparently 8-9 wins & meaningless bowl games every year are enough for a school like UT.

This program is definitely not what it used to be.
