It's an online class actually so i really don't have a teacher. I go in the library and do my assignments on the cpu, but what happens is, i go to the library and get on Volnation for an hour and a half...

You a history teacher Jay? Gotta say, i initially took it to have a class i could BS through, but it's actually pretty cool. I gotta write an essay on the Great Schism tomorrow.

Very very very little. Miniscule even. Seems to me that Gruden is pretty much the Degree All-in Moment.

The only name I heard was Gruden and for me, that was just this week. I have heard Dooley is on the thinnest ice possible since Ky. game last year but the Fla game seemed to get it rolling even more....it was a make or break of sorts it seems. He had a chance there to erase the past with the fans and the powers that be but again, he failed miserably. Then GA melted more ice, and after Miss State he seems to be all wet and pretty much done.

I have heard it said a LOT of times over the last year or so that Hart really likes Smart......but no one I know has mentioned Smart as someone we are going after. If Gruden completely falls through I expect Smart to be on the short list whether we want him to be or not. Too much history and Hart likes him. Thats just my opinion however, not any info. It is well known however Harts affinity for Smart. Get Gruden to say yes, and nothing else matters imo.

Gruden would be an absoulute home run hire! For people wandering about his "mediocre" NFL winning %. I would just say look at what happened to both franchises after he left. They both went to crap in a very short period of time.
Throw in name recognition and likeability, and he definitely gives us something Dooley doesn't. HOTSAUCE!!!
I just don't see it happening, and I hope some of you all don't go into clinical depression, when it doesn't.
And trust me, if it does, I WILL absolutley, gladly be back here to have multiple helpings of crow, and I will still say, "may I have another."

This is the key for me. Gruden is a skilled coach that knows how to:

-Surround himself with very skilled coordinators and position coaches
-Give instant legitimacy to UT and what it is trying to accomplish in its football program
- Give an INSTANT recruiting boost. Tell me you are a high school kid, on a couch with your parents, and John Gruden sitting on the other side of a coffee table. What 5* says no to that?

Just those three things alone give me the attitude it would be a GREAT hire. I literally see no downside at all.

Still got a freezer full, going to fire up the fryer tomorrow as soon as I get home from work and should be done just about kickoff. I do not want to wait too late, UT games this year have not created much of an appetite lol. Have to get em out of the grease by kickoff.
