I am all for this change and reeaallly hope we get Gruden. BUT don't mistake that with me wanting this team to fail. As far fetched as everyone thinks I want nothing more than to beat those inbreds today. I will always pull for our players no matter who the coach is!

Old Vol, is this seven-eight day timeline only valid if we lose to Bama and SC or is it going to happen anyway?

I want my Vols to win but do not want DD to buy himself another year.

Very true. And we have some vol fans over there schooling them some. Some okie thinks he knows more about tenn ball then our own fans. Incedible.

We have to lose to both. Losing isn't the problem as that will surely happen.

So media beginning to pick up this story, Other schools have been using this against us for 3 years now. Then all of the sudden this thread is the reason for lack of support? I'm sorry if you can't see that supporting the team and supporting the coach are two complete different things.

I keep hearing that too from everyone but hard to fathom beating two top ten programs back to back then losing your job. I hope they are as committed to upgrading as it seems.

Not like it is likely to win the next two but the .00000001% chance it happens has to be considered lol.

This argument makes no sense. But since you some people seem to think it does, Gruden played his own Raiders team in the Super Bowl and Dungy won his Super Bowl with someone else's players.
