That's wrong. You are talking 19-21 year old kids who live by the feedback they receive from the coaching staff first.
I just disagree.
I think the AD should leave the coach alone when it comes to what the coach has to say about his players.
If your point is that the coach shouldn't say negative things about the players to the press, then maybe that has some validity, although I stick by my thinking that the coach is well within his rights to do so.
My overarching point is that the AD should butt out of what the coach does in regard to his players (provided they are within NCAA and school guidelines)
The real question is the amount of coaches you have had during this era.
