The alleged argument was about Dooley crapping on Hunter's draft status in Dooley's eyes. I'm sure that's great for recruiting. If a post on an anonymous message board can destroy recruiting, imagine what a HC talking crap about one of his star players in a press conference. You tell me which is worse. He has no clue how to handle people or how to be a leader.

I don't doubt it. I guess they told him no thanks if true. Smart move by UNC. They need to send him packing tonight. I don't know why they are waiting. Even if we don't get Gruden (I believe we will jmo) he won't be back next year.

Think AD is releasing all this info to justify the swinging axe. His record is enough for me, just makes it easier when he's an ass.

I think that this became most evident today. No coach should ever discredit a player who is perceived to be a top NFL prospect. Supporting your great players when they are having difficulties is what a coach should do. IMO

Bulls**t. Bray and Hunter have played piss poor and deserve to be called out. They both need to man up and perform the way they should if they want to go to the NFL. It takes work and a relentless attitude to stay in the NFL. At this point, they don't deserve the benefit of the doubt.

It makes me think he must feel good about our next hire. There was no need to do this because of his record. But he may be doing it to counter anything Derek says when he is canned. We all know his mommy will get her radio jobs back. I can't imagine what that idiot will say about precious.

I don't disagree with what you are saying. Bray and Hunter have definitely been disappointing this season. I do feel however, that there are more effective ways of trying to get players to understand there weaknesses. Using the media to try and reach them just shows that Dooley is in over his head, and is overall an ineffective communicator with his players. Either that, or he has totally lost control of this team. Not good no matter which way you look at it, once again IMO
