If he is hired I think him coming in after USCe would be perfect. Players like Bray, CP and Hunter could actually play in games he is coaching and possibly could sway them to come back next year. Would also be huge to close out recruiting imo.

? Whether or not you agree with his antics he was a good football coach and that's not debatable.

I think they're just saying he would be officially announced. He would have a completely new playbook.

Still not seeing anything on twitter....if Hart called a 3pm presser he is the best at keeping this quiet....I hope it happens. 15 mins to find out I guess

Tell me oh wise one, which among you predicted the arrival of Derek Dooley? My guess is I can go back and find the same threads in 2009 about Gruden and about Lovie Smith and about 4 or 5 others on UTs "wish list".

Let's start at the begininng, stumpy, First we have to start with being sure Dooley is gone. It has been said by CBS's Bruce Feldman, ESPN's Chris Low, Kirk Herbstreit, Colin Cowherd and Brent Sobleski, Erik Ainge, Tony Basilio and Clay Travis. It has been hinted at by Wes Rucker, Chris Treece, Doc, Jeff, Heather and Dave Hart himself. Along with VN insiders.

Secondly, about the Gruden thing. It has been posted about by ESPN's Chris Low, Brent Sobleski, Tony Basilio(who called the Dooley hire), Clay Travis. And hinted at by Kirk Herbstreit, Wes Rucker, Erik Ainge, Doc, Jeff and Heather, and Chris Treece and by the man himself Jon Gruden. Along with VN insiders.

The last time around it wasn't reported this wide spread or hinted at in this fashion. There is some traction that you cannot deny if you have been following the story and not just hating.

Some have heard he is scheduled to be on campus, others have heard meetings with Hart.

OCI heard what he reported.

Basically, no one has ever seen a Dave Hart hire so following this has been crazy.

This all is looking good and while there is no way to 100% confirm any of this, there is way to much continuity of the information.

The 3pm presser real? Anyone know for sure? Can only be one thing for certain with that if true and that is the announcement that Dooley is gone officially. Not sure they would immediately announce Gruden right after that. Wait a few days and then announce Gruden. Like say....Oct 28th. Yes its a Sunday but by god thats my birthday and that would be an awesome birthday present.

Misread Rucker, he was mocking press conference reports. The Dooley's pants (no idea why i still follow) twitter says there is one but it's for butt chugging again?

He said he meant to write no presser at 3 PM to end rumors but put that there was a presser instead.
