He (and the donors) better if they are serious about winning again.

I think it's clear at this point that Gruden is very interested in the job. It's going to be up to Hart and the major boosters to seal the deal. The next month or two will tell us how serious our leaders are about winning again. We're looking at a program defining moment which could impact the next decade.

He also said he doesn't think it's over for Dooley right now.

I take what every respected poster says, put it together, and build my conclusions from there. I think CDD is out with a loss this week, because it would take the magic number of 8 wins out of play (for the regular season). If we win, and if Gruden is 'on the line,' then Hart will have his hands full next week. JMO

Give us a pic of Gruden holding the NC trophy on the podium surrounded by a sea of orange and white please and thank you.:)

Ok, here's Gruden, in orange, and with a trophy. Alas, the crowd has not showed up. Yet.

I have a fraternity brother from ETSU, who is the brother in law of Jon Gruden. I was a Lambda Chi at ETSU back in the mid to late 80's, anyway I asked my frat brother if his brother in law, Jon Gruden, would actually take the UT position, and he said to me tonight that it is "looking good" and "close to a 75% chance he would take it". That doesn't mean he will take it but it is more of a reality than a hoax, like some may think. He also told me that Coach Gruden would want "complete control" of the program, just like Saban at Bama. It will be interesting to see how how it all turns out.
