Imagine this. There has been some talk of Saban moving to a new location (NFL, Texas ). Wouldn't it be nice to have Gruden announced as our new coach and then the NFL takes Saban from Bama and Texas goes after Muschamp. Richt isn't entirely in a stable situation either. It could open the door for a rather large coaching carousel in which Tennessee comes out the clear winner.

Deserves being brought up again. Gruden has historically went with 4-3 defenses though.

Of course he's talking about bringing the spread to his offensive philosophy so who knows?

I think with his clout, Gruden wouldn't have much trouble finding his own coordinator though.

I want to beat Saban. I would get much more satisfaction from that.

How about if Gruden fails to beat ANY big time team, then you can try to be relevant.
