So who do think Gruden would snag to coach with him realistically?

Without any research off the top of my head, Id like

OC-Eventually Manning, but for now, idk who we should get.
DC-Maybe Chavis?
QB-Darin Hinshaw ( good recruiter) or Tee Martin
RB-Jay Graham
WR-Tee Martin ( rising coach and very strong recruiter) or try to steal back Trooper Taylor ( love his recruiting and could eliminate Auburn as a contender for the Berry Twins)
OL- Sam Pittman (done outstanding with our OL)

DL- idk here, but would John Henderson or Leonard Little do any good?
LB- Sunseri ( I know its a stretch duento him being demoted, but he is one of the best LB coaches around.) If not Sunseri, maybe Al Wilson?
CB- Ansley

What do you all think, I know there are some better guys ourhere.

Remember that just because people were great players doesn't make them great coaches. Teaching and doing are 2 different things.

Pretty sure he'd have his own list, and many from his NFL days/connections.

I think Gruden would put a staff together we would all be excited about. I doubt he uses any retreads from UT.

Who would Gruden hire for his staff? Off the top of mybhead I can think of a few position coaches but there are holes left. What do you all think?

From the top of my head a no research:

OC-
DC- Chavis?
QB- Tee Martin ( up and coming coach and strong recruiter)
RB- Jay Graham (out standing improvement with RBs)
WR- Trooper Taylor ( with Chizik on the hot seat, and his recruiting skills we could possibly steal him back. Plus that could seal the deal with the Berry twins)
OL- Sam Pittman( amazing job with our OL)
DL- idk
LB- Sunseri ( I know it would be toughto convince him because he would be demoted, but he is one of the best LB coaches in the game.)
DB- not sure...Ansleynsounds like an up and comer but idk if we keep tackling awful and geting burned.

Special Teams- James Whilhoit

Strength and Conditioning- I really like Scott McKeefry he knows what he is doing.

What do you all think?

...if we have to hire Trooper Taylor to seal deals what is point of paying Gruden all of that money?

I can't believe you bumped the Strong thread. We were seeing how long it would languish at 37 posts. It has been at least seven hours. I do like the Gruden bat signal.

My ideal DC would be hands down Raheem Morris b/c he coached under Gruden at Tampa plus he runs the 3-4..IMO, our current players would adapt to that very well since that is what Sal runs..Morris is a considerable upgrade over Sal.

I would definitely keep Graham for the simple fact that he could secure Greene since he and Greene have a solid relationship.

Other that that,I honestly don't care who he brings in since his brother probably coming with him due to a possible HC opportunity in the near future.

Its been so long since I could trash talk a UGA, FU, and Bama fan...gah Impraying that we get Gruden. Ill go streaking with Orange paint all over, gruden written on me in white, and holding a chuck doll!!!
