The thing about insider knowledge is that, when predictions are wrong (e.g., Randy Shannon is a done deal), people can say, "Well, it WAS a done deal, but things fell through." If Gruden is not the hire, I expect this will be the storyline. It was done but there were some snags. I would love to be wrong, but I've learned not to get my hopes up when it comes to Tennessee.
