Brent Hubbs says that it is not a done deal. He says that no agreement has been reached. He did say earlier that UT would pursue Gruden hard. For some reason it doesn't seem logical that a deal is done. Why would an agent agree to a contract now?

Hubbs is a mouthpiece. He toes the line between giving out enough information to look like an insider so he can keep charging for his site, and saying what the University wants him to say. I wouldn't put too much into what he says.

I do say this, if he mentions Gruden, it means that our talks with Gruden are legit. But he is hyper-conservative.

IIRC, SBV said that the deal was finalized but the contract wasn't signed yet. I guess it won't be until Dooley is fired.
