A phone pick up can be a interview, he doesn't have to fly all over the country. I don't see the reason to look like you are searching for other coaches, I don't think it looks bad to anyone if it is Gruden anyway. Any school should be able to hire who they want when they want. I know this isn't the way it is but going through a charade to appease a few is SILLY but in the end all I want is GRUDEN!! Recruiting is VITAL, get it done SOON!GO BIG ORANGE! WE WANT CHUCKY!!

Whats the confusion? Hart has to make it look like numerous guys were contacted, including a minority, which is why Strong has come up. But honestly i really like Strong and he would be my 3rd choice behind Gruden and Stoops.

I am really confused.... So the AD is so tight lipped that folks like Skeet and members of the AD department do not even know, but The AD has let Ainge know that it is going to happen and he will let him break the story if it is kept quiet.....:unsure:

There are two story lines going on here. The boosters are doing the heavy lifting on this hire. Meanwhile, the AD is putting out info that leads us to believe that they are running a normal search.

This is shy the usual insiders info. Is so different than the folks getting booster information.

UT alumnus engineering grad '95. I live in Memphis. 6 hour drive from my door to Neyland. I haven't been to Neyland since 2002 (Arkansas) due to life and children (blessed with 2). But if we land Gruden, me and my 9 year old son and 6 yer old daughter will be at the O&W game.

Neyland packed for O&W would be a memory I want them to have.

Bring us Hope. Bring us Gruden.
