This program is a disgrace to the man of which the stadium is named.

And what is even more of a disgrace is the fact that Dooley is apparently holding the team hostage due to his buyout. Furthermore what he is doing to the kids who play on the team. Buyout be damned, Hart needs to fire him.

Like it or not, that is what the man negotiated, and the University agreed to pay, if he is terminated. So, the way I see it, he is due the money.

So, in this case, it is the University holding the players and fans hostage. They are going to have to pay the money anyhow, so they can pay it now and get this over with. They must have a reason to wait until later.

I hope the reason is because of timing issues with Gruden, and not to give Dooley a chance to win out and keep the job.

Dooley is not going to win out and it wouldn't matter if he did. I watched Missouri play the Gators hard yesterday and if they play that way here next week we will lose by 2 td's.

The only SEC game I feel half way good about is KY, we could easily go 0-8 with this horrid defense in conference play.

Ever thought about how many fans have come over to the "Fire Dooley" way of thinking with each horribly coached game that passes? Ever considered he is being let go at the end of the year, among other reasons dealing with our new coach, to solidify the fanbase and the few donors and boosters still on the fence with Dooley? The more on board the better and the fire Dooley faction picked up a lot of new members yesterday.

Sure they ran the risk of him looking great coaching the last 4 games but it was very good odds to make that gamble with our FCS defense.

Probably like 99% on this thread, I seriously doubt he wins out. After yesterday, nothings guaranteed. We could still announce the firing, but as some say, that would cause a lot of new coach questioning from the media. But heck, let 'em talk.

I agree that the chances of winning out are miniscule, and I am NOT advocating keeping Dooley regardless of what happens. I am totally on board with the rest of you. We need Gruden to coach this team. I am hoping that the University's decision to keep Dooley in plave to the end of the season is due to timing issues with Gruden.

My prediction is a another 5-7 finish (maybe 6-6), with the losses to Mizzou and Vandy.

Can the "insiders" restate their belief that Gruden is coming? This fanbase (including myself) needs another shot of hope after another woeful performance.

In fact, we need to schedule these shots of confidence for every Sunday morning through the end of the season.

I'm not sure. Don't think I have. Is it on YouTube?

Not sure if on YouTube goat. It is on Netflix. Watched it last night. It's worth watching if you like these kind of things.
You will leave watching it thinking wtf. Skeptic or not.

Filmed in 2007 in Nevada

I wonder how many times Dooley will say (we played a real good football team today) on the Dooley show today.

Any guesses on how many fans will be at Neyland next week?
Wonder what the lowest attendance record is for Neyland against SEC opponents the past 30 years.

I am going to guess 82k next week.

Media talk might not be a bad thing. Right now potential recruits have no hope for TN. At least if Dooley is canned there is hope for a competent staff.

About the same or less than yesterday imo. 80k sold 65-70k asses in seats.

Wonder if they will ask him about:

90th in rushing defense (13th in SEC)
91st in pass efficiency defense (10th)
97th in sacks (14th)
107th in scoring defense (14th)
112th in total defense (14th)
115th in pass defense (14th)

Stats after Troy.
