Really, I'm excited. Remember how Bruce Pearl invigorated our basketball program? How he pumped energy into it? It's going to be like that for football if this happens. I am pumped.

The only difference is we weren't relevant in basketball so it was cool to watch him build it from the ground up. This is different. But it's gonna be cooler to watch us return to greatness

I'm a political science major I hear enough of this crap in class and at work. I come here to talk about the Vols not get into a hissy fit over the election..... Not bashing you man but just ready for it to be over!! The election and the JG situation

We aren't relevant in football now. Sad, but true. The pieces are still there. though. The facilities. The fan base. The tradition. We make this hire, and are able to get in the door with top recruits, then the sky is the limit. We become instantly relevant. It might take a couple of years, but we are competing with Alabama. We are beating Georgia. We are beating Florida again. Five star guys will want to play for us. We become the school of Peyton Manning, Al Wilson, and Leonard Little again. Players will come here saying "Hey, I want to whoop some ass.". I want to win a championship. I want to play in the NFL.

People should keep that garbage in there.
