I don't know how reliable the guy is but he really did make it sound like if we don't land Gruden we may be stuck with Dooley.

All I meant by that statement is that he knows, has known, and that they were happy to let him coach the year out. Its cleaner than appointing an interim and publicly disclosing a search.

Thanks for the reply. I wasn't trying to play a game of gotcha with my question (if it came off that way). I was just wondering why he was still actively recruiting and even continuing to offer scholarships. Maybe thumbing his nose at Hart since the scholarships are to 2 star players?
