I'm assuming the big money boys know how big the next hire will be to the future health of this program. I'm also guessing whatever can be done to accommodate Gruden will be done. Im really trying to not post. I haven't posted nearly what I have heard that makes me feel this way. Its not from VN. Its also not what you guys nor I want to hear, so no reason to post any more information that doesn't support Gruden coming. It is only met with resistance and borderline naive posts, no offense intended to anyone in particular. I was tooting the Gruden horn as loudly as anyone. I do think there has been discussion but in no way am I optimistic right now at our prospects to land him.

I also think this "big meeting" is being blown way out of proportion and will do nothing to settle the coaching dilemma.

Like I said, I am only worried about one thing now. Is Dooley back in 2013? I do not believe for a second anything is decided there, even though I have heard that up until the last week or so. Now the same people, some in AD some former players some just people very keyed in all say it will most likely take at least another loss to even ensure a coaching change. Frustrating to say the least.

J i honestly think most of these guys believe they are telling the truth. I went round and round this morning with Boro and don't believe all of his story but its not blatant lieing IMO. I think their sources have told them info that the believe but with every curve in the round their story changes to cover the end result. In the end I think JG could end up being the guy like their sources have told them but like anything else when things are passed from person to person stories get twisted.

God this thread is depressing today. The good news if Dooley come back is I will save lots of money on not going to games next year.

For the same reason a couple of others are.. To be prix, point their spindly fingers and go "nana nana boo boo"... They get their kicks trying to rub someone's nose in their real/perceived mistake..

Same thing could be said of you, not bashing, just saying that it could be said about just about everyone with info on VN.

Not agreeing or disagreeing with you Carter, but I can not imagine the AD will let this go on as is, even if Dooley wins out. Anyone with any common sense has to see Dooley has to go...just has to. I truly hope we do get Gruden, but Dooley & co. have to go, except Graham & Pittman.
