That can be arranged.:)

I have had confidence since day one that has never waivered while others have had doubts...I can understand where the doubters and skeptics are coming from b/c they are in the "seeing is believing" state of mind..Perfectly normally after everything that Vol fans have endured in recent years.

These people need to realize mike hamilton is no longer running the show.

I have never stated there was a good chance with Gruden. I have stated that there was a good chance Dooley would return, and personally I still believe that, however there has been talk of a buyout in the AD's circles that occurred recently. Any talk beyond that is nonsense.

Point blank, this is the first I've ever seen you post here and SBV and the others who've stayed the course with their info from the beginning have YEARS of credibility on the board.

I'm not saying you're lying, I'm not saying you're right...but I AM saying that I'm going with the historically reliable posters on this site over you.

There have only been about 100 of your kind come through this site since its inception, some have proven their salt others not so much....until you prove to me otherwise, I'm going with the latter.

Good choice.

I just ventured over into the football forum and have lost all hope for mankind. It amazes me that people still defend Dooley. They argue that this is a process and he still needs time. They sound like perfect little brainwashed sheep.

Where do you think LWS is getting his info? Volquesters act like his word is gold.

Was on VQ a long time. LWS is a good poster and has contacts. But he does hedge his info a lot. I understand it because he does not want to be totally wrong if he is given bad info. But he normally does not state in absolutes.

Also I am not sure who he knows now, because I am pretty sure he had contacts on the staff under Fulmer. Obviously they have moved on.

What I was told is consistent with what Basilio has been saying. I can guarantee that it's not the same source.

But Basilio has not gone as far as you have. I hope beyond all hope that you are right. Gruden is the only coach I see as being able to turn this program around quickly.

Yes, I took a peek this morning. I can't believe the support over there for him still.

What they don't understand is that talent-wise, we should be 6-2 at this point.

They have been a joke for 6 years, their attendance is down 10,000 per game from their hay day. Their athletic dept is broke and their AD is facing multiple wrongfull termination lawsuits. Dan Radakovic just took the Clemson job, turned down the UT job because they were such a mess. Yea, UT can get who they want, sure. The further they get away from the 1990's, they are a has been that doesn't produce much in state talent.

A few down years doesn't erase 100 years of being awesome!

And who are they to talk about has-beens? They're never-was. They think having a couple of good years under a dirtbag coach makes them relevant. It's cute really.

Arkansas fans should stick to what they do best. Rolling around in slop.

I just meant by timeframe as that's what I was asked about. Dooley knows his fate, but the AD is keeping it quiet to avoid a media s**tstorm. It's consistent with what the originals here have been saying.

This, he usually post his opinions and on the gruden topix he has been all over the place from saying that dooley will be back to dooley is gone but in that statement he said from information he had hot. So who knows

You know, Bill Parcells has a saying, "you are what you are." And Dooley is what he is, a non-SEC caliber coach. He could coach here another 10 years, and I don't think you would ever see him above 5-3 in the conference in a really good year, but most years between 3-5 and 4-4. We cannot and should not accept that here.

Those folks over in the football forum are fooling themselves.

I'm too lazy to venture over there to read that crap..It's not worth getting frustrated over besides,I'll get frustrated enough when the game starts..The first time Chaney calls a 40-yd fade on 3rd and 1, I will blow my top.:furious3:

Didn't you say in your newest thread its looking like Dooley won't be back?

"The idea that Jon Gruden would go to Arkansas is so patently absurd that only someone from Arkansas could ever believe it's true. Gruden will either coach the Vols or he won't be in college next year. Period. The lunacy and stupidity of the Arkansas Razorback fan base is completely underrated. That's primarily because no one really pays attention to what they're doing from one season to the next. The Arkansas fan base is like your great-uncle who the family has disowned but who occasionally shows up at Christmas and tells you why you need to join his militia."

Clay Travis gets it.
