Well they may get him but I think having. #18 in our corner talking to him is a big factor. Plus money is relative seeing as how we can make almost 1.5x the money they make on a home football game. You give us 7 sellouts with JG as the hf next year plus big bowl money, no money problems.

They have zero chance at getting Gruden. I have no sources. But I would bet you my car Gruden doesn't go to Arkansas.

I'm not saying that, Godfatha. Just commenting that the AD needs to make his own decision because, when all is said and done, the success or failure of the hire is going to be on him, not the boosters.

I'm not on board with a Smart hire (yet), as I truly believe Grudes is the right guy. But Hart has to decide for himself because it's his job that's on the line with this hire.

I understand what you are saying, but (I only know what I read) doesn't Hart need financial support from the boosters to fire Dooley and hire his replacement? If that is the case, can he decide not to make a change and count all the empty seats at Neyland? I think the only decision he can make and be successful is to hire a coach that the boosters will support.

Actually, it is really only tradition that they cannot compete against. Their facilities are new (not as good as ours, but comparable) and they do have serious dough. Jerry Jones is one that can contribute... Now, Tenn vs Arkansas the state, people, etc. win out by FAR.

This Grudenville thing is beyond ridiculous. What are they even basing this on? UK and Auburn fans aren't making claims about Gruden. I am just at a complete loss as to why Arkansas fans believe they have any chance at him.
