He mentioned Baldwin went to Pitt. He mentioned McCluster went to Ole Miss. He mentions ALOT of colleges the players went to. I think your grasping at straws folks.

I think most everyone thinks it's coincidence that he mentions Tennessee... but I also think you need to clean the wax out of your ears.... The person who mentioned Pitt, Ole Miss etc, was Mike Tirico, the other
MNF announcer.... not Jon Gruden.

With all the drive by's of late I am beginning to think this thread is either in Lonsdale or Watts community.

The only emphasis Gruden puts on which college team a player attended is UT, the rest he says in passing.

I agree I think he is a coach that truely loves every level of the game. He has watched a lot of these players in college.

He does. Did y'all read the BR write up on Gruden?

He talks about loving the game so much. Said after he was fired from TB, he went on a quest and opened a business called FFCA (Fired Football Coaches of America). He opened his doors to other coaches and opened his mind to the galaxy of football strategies and philosophies. His hunger for football is insatiable and quite impressive!!!

That's what I was thinking, too. But my hearings not the best so............
