Long time lurker here. Great news today! And thanks to all who brought us the info. I’ve enjoyed the comic banter in between as well.

Y’all have me darn near 100% convinced that King Gruden will be here.

That being said, does anyone else find the above twitter exchange odd? Dooley’s oldest son attends Webb (IIRC), and from what I’ve gathered Gruden would certainly have enough respect to avoid that really awkward moment between the outgoing family and the incoming family.

Another point that may be noteworthy.

Jon has three kids. "Deuce" (Jon Jr.) is now 18-19. Jayson is approximately 11-12.

However, Michael is 14-15....about the age of a sophomore. If he takes this job in December, Michael would be starting school at Webb as a sophomore most likely. These kids could know. It could be an unfounded rumor. But, it makes more sense than you think.

I sold the steel for the McKenzie Lawson facility (there's not a lot of steel since it was primarily a concrete structure). But I plan on taking a tour soon before the building is fully finished and turned over. Maybe I'll get lucky and catch Gruden roaming the halls.

Radio station in Chatt is reporting new coach has signed and many on here reporting Gruden has signed an MOU. Which basically is an intent to coach with principles and framework laid out. :good!:
