At this point I would change my screen name and find another journalist to impersonate or whatever it is you have going on. You cannot spell, have no grasp of word usage, and now proved you do not even know about Tee going with Kiffin. Many of us thought Tee coaching with Kiffin was a tragedy of epic proportions. No way anyone claiming to be a media member would not know Tee is at USC.

All throughout this process I have stated that high dollar boosters don't always have any clue what is going on and in fact I have been burned already a few weeks ago in this ordeal. With that being said this is what I was just told from a very high booster.

Yesterday he told me he was confident just as most on here are but this morning he is getting word that golden will be the guy. Surprisingly he was pretty excited about golden as he always felt gruden was a tough get.


Do I think he is plugged into to exactly where this process is ??? I don't but I did think its worth noting that huge boosters don't think it's happening now after being confident yesterday.

Thats what I would be saying too if I didnt want my word as a Booster to screw the pooch...dont wanna be that guy...I dont care how much of a buddy I am with somebody...

I will start out by saying I am in no form or fashion a insider and have as many "sources" as Jerry from Bulls Gap, however I recieved a tweet this AM from a close friend whos wife is a school teacher in the Knoxville. Per the obvious, she has many outlets and friends in the Knox Co school system and she has been told by multiple Webb teachers (close friends) that the Gruden's were 100% on Webb's campus earlier in the week.

Grain of salt but I thought I would fuel the fire.

I'd assume it's possible that with new rounds of confident news so might come new rounds of smoke and misinformation. Semblances of a coaching search would have to be provided to keep up appearances. With that would come new names, lists, etc. I'm as skeptical as the next guy about us actually getting this right but if it is on track we should be prepared for imaginary speed bumps.

I heard that from him this morning here in Nashville, then when Mark Howard said if it isn't Gruden what does the list look like and Hyams started stammering around before finally saying, well I'd hate to get into a list with Dooley still sitting as coach. HAHAHAHA!! You aren't getting into a list because THERE IS NO LIST and you know it. Good try HiYams.

That is not factual. There is a list and Gruden is at the top but he is also at the top of a lot of other jobs as well. The issue with Gruden, to my understanding, has never been interest. The issue has been does he want to coach in college. Several prominent boosters are willing to cover the bill but would they be willing to cover the bill for someone not named Gruden?

One thing that cannot be disputed...if UT was to play Miami in a bowl game this year, the Miami Heat and Oklahoma City Thunder couldn't match the amount of points that might be scored, even if both teams shot 60%.

Not sure I buy all the previous 'smokescreen' theories, but this Golden talk is so sudden, so consistent just at the exact same time as the Gruden word is leaking that I am convinced it's a campaign to cool things until JG is ready.

I firmly believe Golden's name was floated intentionally.
