Sorry dude, I defended you when you got blasted for calling Ainge an idiot on Twitter but I don't see how someone that covers sports makes that kinda mistake. And he said Tee was at USC and you corrected him and said KY so it wasn't a brain fart. That's not a derp that's a WTF man!

He was also contacting Tee Martin for verification of coach talks with Gruden.

This kind of stuff really gets under my skin. I tweeted Ainge and told him he REALLY should talk with Dano, he has some good info (trying to patch up the "idiot" statement).

I'm embarrassed, to say the least.

We keep seeing the rumors that he is putting a college staff together. How do they know its a college staff? What exactly makes the folks he is talking to a college staff and not an nfl staff? I would love if we could land Gruden. I still am not sold that we will get him though. Just wondering what makes the so called staff people are saying he is putting together just for college?

FWIW, I heard it was done and the only thing left was figuring out the assistant coach pay, and Tee Martin is leaving USC to come back to be recruiting coordinator.

I thought Zook was going to be our recruiting coordinator?

We are going to hear a few names thrown on the air, part of the process. The thing to do is remain calm and firm in your beliefs on Gruden. The stadium is only going to fill up and merchandise flying off the racks if a big name hire (Gruden) is leading the Vols onto the field of battle next year. The AD knows it, the BOT knows it and the Big Boosters are going to make it happen.

I do not know if Zook would come if he is not the DC. If he comes as the DC, I do not see a coordinator being the RC. That is more a position for a position coach.
