Anybody in here refusing to believe smart had serious support has a very short memory. Many of you if you admit it wanted smart less than a year ago

Can't speak for G, but I did not want Smart then and that hasn't changed.

First of all I don't want smart and never did but just discussing the complete dismissal this board has done on his ability to get things done as a head coach.

To your Saban assistants cant succeed stance: lets look at two coaches in 2012.

Sunseri and his under failure as the DC at tenn. one thing to keep in mind is he wasn't a coordinator at Bama.

Will muschamp and his run at coach of the year nationally at florida who was a coordinator just as smart.


Why do we only choose to use SS in our thinking about Saban assistants when WM has done great things this year???

Not to rain on anyone's parade. But wasn't there a lot of "Manning coming to the Titans, Book It" going around earlier this year. The whole "Gruden" thing sounds eerily similar.

Because SS has brought an all new level of suck. This fan base is so divided and beat down. There has to be a HR hire to unite the masses. A coordinator will not do this.

I am with you. Just discussing why so many flipped away from smart. I never wanted him but know he had serious support on here
