I know a lot of stuff flying around as to where and when but has anyone on or around ESPN made any comments on the situation. To me that would be more of a tell than most other things going around. If they ignore it, would lend more to the sending up smoke to hide true intentions. I'm new on here so if t has been covered,pardon my ignorance.

I thought in the beginning Gruden to UT was a long shot, now I'm starting to believe it's going to happen! This is not only a home-run hire it would be a grand-slam for UT. Gotta make this happen--been down too long! Hearing rumors from the NFL side is most encouraging!:good!:

Take this with a complete grain of salt. UPS driver that made a delivery to me today started talking about Auburn. He claims his brother in law is on the BOT for Auburn and that Chizik has known that he was gone since the Vandy loss and that K. Smart was going to be his replacement.

I have no idea how valid this info is, just thought I would pass it along since I never have any info to share. I just hope its true because I want nothing to do with Smart.

I am all in on Gruden anyway. GBO

I feel like my ribs are broken from coughing so much. I think I've hit bottom and am starting my slow climb back. It always takes me longer to recover from stuff.

I've checked out some stuff on some of the Eagles message boards and they aren't even talking about Gruden. You see a mention of his name every now and then but it's mostly followed by "Gruden will NOT be the head coach here" Same thing with Cower and Sean Payton. A lot of their attention is directed at Chip Kelley, Reid staying or a current NFL assistant. So I guess that's good news.

Multiple reputable sources continue to mention Tennessee, none have mentioned Arkansas. Gee... wonder why?

And they're talking about meeting up with Duckman to buy him some beers after Gruden is hired. I wonder if the offer still stands when he's hired by Tennessee. Duckman sucks, I wouldn't buy him ****. I think they even have some guy selling Gruden shirts on that site. Nucking futs

Not really, but it's a DC show. They aren't too concerned about what goes on at UT and they weren't asking about Gruden specifically, just asking about if any unemployed NFL coaches would get back in.

I think Kelly's offense would get totally shut down in the NFL, all defenses have that kind of speed in the NFL. It would be a fun experiment to watch though.
