Did anyone find it odd that Hart essentially said that this coach had to have experience in the SEC...Gruden had a cup of coffee when it comes to the SEC...is that enough or am I just reading too much into that comment?

I hate to say it, but I almost felt like Cut when he mentioned someone that knew what it took to climb the ladder and win in the SEC..hmy:

If Cutcliffe is hired here there will be no need to watch UT football for 3-5 years....

I thought it was experience to know how to be successful in te SEC. I'd say experience in being successulf in the NFL would qualify.

One national title, multiple Big XII titles (including many in the championship game). That boxed wine is rotting your brain.

Given that he coaches in the Big 12 and borders Texas, he should be going 11-1 and 12-0 like every year. The one loss should only come against Texas and they've been sucking too.

He's been to what, 2 championships in the past 10 years?? He plays in a poor conference and gets top talent.

I would be fine with hiring Stoops but to think he'll come to Tennessee where it's harder to recruit and magically go undefeated in the SEC is unrealistic imo.

Miles struggled at Oklahoma State and Saban struggled at Michigan State. They accomplished more with less. They got better when they went to a better school. Stoops accomplishes less with more and Tennessee is a tougher job.

Jmo. I guess I have a rotten brain because I'd take Gundy, Fitzgerald and Mullen over Stoops. They've done a lot with less. I would like to see what they could do with Tennessee's resources.

Yep, he said a few things that pointed away from Gruden.

from the way I took it, he said someone that new how to get to the top in the SEC...I don't know if he specifically said SEC experience, but he just said knows how to win...

Even though its better than where we've been lately, its not good enough. Need to aim higher.
