He also said prior head coaching experience is "critically important" for next UT hire.

Gruden hasn't been a head coach at the college level but he has been a head coach. Good enough for me.

The main name I hear is gruden, I'm torn whether I want him or not. He built Oakland into a contender then won a sb w tb, but then his record went downhill. Was that due to tb not wanting to get players or spend $ etc. Also do you not worry that if he does come that he will leave if a good nfl job comes up.

He would be great. You know he could recruit. And he would bring in some good coaches. A real good DC and OC cord. Let's hope his wife wants to move back to east Tenn to be close to her family.

Because he is not that good of a coach. There are proven college coach`s out there that would be better.

And yes he would bolt for an NFL job in my opinion.
