Kind of funny how the "AD insiders" said all along that Hart wanted Smart then in his press conference he basically said no one without HC experience would be considered (effectively). Kind of sounds like guessing to me.

That's why we have Jay Graham. Keep us afloat while we wait on the triumphant entrance.

I envision some sort of floats and a hundred trumpet army with Hart holding a scepter and crown. We all watch as Gruden triumphantly walks down Peyton Manning Pass, stops in the middle of the "T" waves to the crowd and then walks to sit on his throne in front of gate 21. Hart walks up with the trumpets in full garb playing Rocky Top and we all watch as the crown is gracefully placed on his head and the scepter is gently placed in his hand. Then he will stand up with his Power T scepter raised high above the crowd and the trumpets will stop, eyes will tear with pride and all that is wrong with the world will be righted.

Oh what a glorious December day it will be.

I said in my own words, I thought it was doubtful, But I ALSO THOUGHT we would win Vandy and we didn't. So I like most Vol fans want to believe, it sounds positive.

the thing i love about gruden and the reason i want him at tennessee is because he will give us a crazy mean ole nasty defense....the kind people fear. we need that...and for anyone that dont believe me just go back n look at his raiders n buccaneers squads...they were more defesive than offensive teams. although some argument could be made i guess when raiders had rich gannon but u have to admit they had a mean defense. i dont think i have to tell anyone around here how much we need that!
