You mis-heard him, He wasn't talking about the NFL HOF.

It's a CFB related deal in NYC that a significant number of football people attend.

I hope you're right, but the reporter he said it to happens to be a UT alum, fwiw.

He is not a nice person. I know it has no bearing on the UT job, but he is the root of our problems with the NCAA, and I hate that it gets brought up again.

I am heading that way. This chatter is positive, I am conservative, have said that multiple times. I think he would have shot a lot of this down, hasn't yet. This is crucial now that Dooley is out, that Gruden doesn't dispel the interest.

I really want him to come, I really do.

SIAP..... I'm still trying to catch up but just wanted to inject this thought. I believe the "connected" posters said that Hart would not fire Dooley unless and untill he had a coach lined up. Well........guess what, he's gone!

I'd love to jump on that train of thought, but yesterday's game made a firing necessary today, regardless of whether or not we have someone lined up.
