Well, Im glad to see that the gruden folks are still confident. If the announcement were made, where would the party be? Surely you guys have discussed some sort of gigantic celebration.

Biddle is a two bit hack who has no source at UT and probably not with anyone close to the Grudens. Go outside with two wire hangers and a portable radio and you will have better sources than Biddle.

He used to do this bit on Plaster's show imitating Majors. He was always drunk of course. He hates everything to do with UT. His phone would ring and the sound was something pouring out of a bottle. He was blatantly making fun of UT. Callers would call in and complain about him all the time. He would always say "I don't have a team to root for or against." He grew up with Spurrier and they are friends. He would gush over the Gators in the 90's.

I don't know anything about biddle, but why do people dislike hyams so much? I understand his commentary isn't exactly exciting, but the man really does try to be objective and not report things based on bs speculation.

I agree and am not trying to say that the article is true. I just find all the rumors going around about Gruden and Tennessee funny.

The is way to much smoke around this hire and the OGs have been spot on for the most part in regards to the timeline.

Biddle didn't say he talked directly to jay just a close friend of jay. He actually said that jay said Jon was getting weirded out and wanted all the Tennessee people off his back. I can't imagine how he could stop that but as I have said all along I doubt he would ever tell us he isn't interest if he wasn't.

If Gruden had no interest, he wouldn't be contacting these other coaches about the job. And, if he were just working us to get a raise, he wouldn't want his brother to go around telling people he had no interest. JMO. But, thanks for posting the Biddle quote. We want to see all relevant information, good or bad.
