Just hanging out. Nothing has changed. I've been solid in the timeline from the get-go. I am hearing that an announcement during the SEC Championship Game cycle is possible.

I understand and do not fault anyone for this stance. If I hadn't heard from who all I have, I would be inclined to call BS more readily.

Just to clarify, ESPN's Joe Schad (@schadjoe) tweeted a quote from the interim UM AD Blake James that Golden was "very committed" to Miami. I haven't seen any unofficial/official/direct statement from Al Golden. He can't be happy that Miami has self-penalized again and will forego the ACC Championship game and any potential bowl game this year. But UM is back on the upswing, and he may want to stick it out.

During the game? Hilarious. Can't wait to hear the complaints of Bama and Georgia fans. "That's not right to do it then. It's our time." Haha!

I'm with you AC. It's also hard with all the other voices out there saying, "there's no way."

I can't say I have the faith of a Grudenite, but I do have the hope of a Grudenite. :good!:

Not during the game, no. During the weeklong buildup. It's going to suck up all the oxygen surrounding the game anyway.

Basilio saying Mora Jr. is his #1. He sure does put a lot of stock into beating a pretty lame USC team. I wonder if Mora is going to be less of a candidate next week when Stanford beats UCLA.

I think it would get more mileage in the PR department if it was the Monday following. The game would take some of the attention away IMO.
