I am most definitely a smartass. I'm an ******* to everyone though. I could argue with a wall, and if I don't, then I don't like you. At the same time, I'll put my life on the line for someone I've known for 5 minutes. I use the word "I" too much, but I'll spend every dime I have on other people's needs. At least I'm self aware.

A lot of people keep saying the "insiders" have been "right so far." I'm not calling anyone a liar or a troll with this. But, what have they been right about so far that those of us without our own inside sources can be confident in, other than that we would lose football games and (most likely) fire Dooley?

I'm also not calling anyone out by putting "insiders" in quotes. I'm doing that for the simple fact that, from where I sit, the "insiders" are merely anonymous posters I have never met.
If I thought the "insiders" were full of it, I wouldn't be here. I'm just saying that I don't see how anyone who doesn't have their own real-life sources can be 100%, when all they have to go on is VN posters saying it will happen and a few media members saying there's a chance.

I cannot see myself telling someone with a straight face that Gruden's coming to Tennessee, because several credible VN posters say so. But, I do work with someone connected to the UF AD office and am tempted to see if they have heard what Waco claimed this week.

This thread series is the best place on the web, and I appreciate all of the information in it. I hope to tell people next month that I knew about it in October. LOL.

Just saying...I am cautiously optimistic. I think that's the best approach.
